KinderAcademy  For Young Scholars provides a safe, loving and nurturing environment in which all of our students are able to grow and develop to their fullest potential. We proudly offer programs from infant care through private full-day Kindergarten.

Our curriculum is in accordance with The Jamaica Early Childhood Commission Curriculum Guide. We provide developmentally appropriate learning opportunities to encourage your child to be confident, successful, lifelong learners. The early years are critical to your child’s positive growth and development, and they are eager to learn new skills, experience challenging opportunities, and be encouraged for their strengths and talents. Every activity and lesson in our classrooms are created to help your child explore, share and grow in a safe and nurturing environment. Whether your child has first words or first grade on the horizon. Our programs offer diverse opportunities that allow your child to develop new skills and enhance existing ones.

KinderAcademy also provides students with digital learning opportunities. With today's ever-changing technology, it is more important than ever that students have unlimited opportunities to learn and achieve. Each student will provide with a tablet.

We offer the following programs:

• Infant Program, ages 6 weeks to 12 months
• Toddler Program, ages 2 years 11 months 
• Junior Daycare & Pre-Kinder 3 years.11 months-4 yrs. 11 months

Infant Program: 6 weeks-12 months

Our nursery provides a safe, warm and stimulating environment that give babies an opportunity to grow and meets their physical and psychological needs. Personalized schedules and loving care encourage infants to learn, develop and grow. We make good use of audio and visual technology.

You can expect lots of cuddling, rocking and playful interaction from our loving caregivers.

Toddler Program: 2 years-2yrs 11 months

At KinderAcademy we provide a conducive environment for the growth of your child. Our youngest learners are engaged in a fun learning environment that supports every child's need for stimulating activities to enhance current skills, and learn new ones, quiet time, small group interactions, free play and curious exploration. Lessons are designed to focus on color, letter number and shape recognition, language development, social skills, self-help skills and small motor skills.

Junior Daycare & Pre- Kinder Programs: 3-4 years 11months

Both our Junior daycare & Pre-K programs promote a more structured academic learning environment to prepare them for their all-important school years ahead. Junior daycare's weekly lessons promote reading readiness, language development, math. science, social studies and computer literacy daily. By the end of this program, your child will learn to have better control with pencils while learning the alphabet. Pre-Kindergarten's advanced curriculum extends the junior daycare program by promoting phonics, reading and writing daily. This provides our students a solid foundation for kindergarten. This comprehensive program allows your child to have fun while learning. Students also use the classroom computers. Outdoor activities involve fun and play and help improve muscle control and motor coordination.

Kindergarten:  5 years 

Our Kindergarten program provides lower student-to-teacher ratios and more personalized attention. Our curriculum not only covers all the basics of an elementary education but includes weekly instruction in health & P.E, computers, art, Spanish, music and drama.

Special Education Programs: Empowering Every Child 

At KinderAcademy for Young Scholars, we believe in the unique potential of every child. Our Special Education program is designed to meet the diverse educational needs of children with varying levels of disability or challenges, embracing the Ministry of Education’s ethos: "Every child can learn, every child must learn.”

Our program offers a tailored educational approach, ensuring that children aged 3 to 6 with mild to moderate disabilities receive the support they need in a nurturing environment. We focus on providing individualized instruction, resources, and accommodations to facilitate learning and help each child reach their maximum potential.

Our Special Education services include:

• Individualized Education Plans (IEP): Developed collaboratively with parents to set achievable goals and outline the specific support services your child will receive.
• Inclusive Learning Environment: Striving for inclusion in the least restrictive environment, allowing children to learn alongside their peers as much as possible.
• Support Services: Access to speech therapy, occupational therapy, and other necessary interventions to support holistic development.
• Family Engagement: We believe in the power of partnership with parents and provide continuous support and resources to empower families.

Introducing Financial Literacy for Tomorrow's Savers.

At Kinder Academy for Young Scholars, we're proud to introduce our pioneering financial literacy program for children aged 3 to 5. Our unique curriculum, inspired by the "Little Learners Big Savers" program, is designed to instill the fundamentals of financial wisdom from an early age. Through engaging storytelling, hands-on activities, and group discussions, we offer a fun and interactive way to introduce concepts of earning, saving, spending, and sharing.

A First-of-its-Kind In-School Banking System

Taking financial education a step further, we've integrated an in-school banking system, complete with a savings passbook for each child. This revolutionary approach allows students to experience real-world financial transactions, encouraging them to save part of their pocket money or earnings from chores. Our program aims to nurture responsible financial habits, critical thinking, and decision-making skills that will serve them for life.

Children learn the value of money through:

• Earning: Understanding the concept of money through personalized tasks and rewards.
• Saving: Using their very own savings passbook to deposit earnings and watch their savings grow.
• Spending: Making informed decisions on when and how to spend wisely.
• Sharing: Learning the importance of generosity and helping others.

Summer Enrichment Camp

Our exciting summer enrichment camp provides summer fun utilizing Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (S.T.E.M )for children entering Kindergarten through 3rd Grade. Fun projects and activities are planned around age-appropriate weekly themes.
