"School nutrition should provide healthy eating among children in order to develop nutritious patterns. This also aids in intellectual development while preventing immediate health problems such as anemia and obesity. Good school nutrition will also prevent long term lifestyle diseases such as heart disease, diabetes and stroke".
Food & Nutrition Consultant Heather Little-White PhD.
Healthy eating helps children learn, play grow and develop. The eating habits children learn carry over into adulthood. At KinderAcademy, we will help the children get the nourishment and energy they need to learn and grow by providing healthy meals. In addition children who eat a variety of healthy foods and play actively several times every day are less likely to be overweight or obese.
"The cheese trix and bag juice culture simply won't cut it. We need to give our children a proper nutrition especially at the early childhood level".

Our child nutrition program includes lunch only, breakfast and two snacks mid-morning and afternoon(provided by parents). Every lunch and snack is nutritionally balanced and meets the National Food Based Dietary Guideline requirements regarding food components and portion size. Milk is served at least 3 times per week and water is offered throughout the day. Parents are encouraged to bring healthy snacks and fruits.
Parents of infants provide formula, baby cereal and "baby food" (commercially or home prepared) labeled with their child's name. As infants are introduced to new foods, parents must keep us informed so that any reactions can be noticed quickly. When infants begin finger foods, we will offer finger foods (once cleared with parents). All foods brought from home are refrigerated if needed.
Bottles are heated in a bottle warmer.
